Brave Space Intensives
Utilizing the full Your Privilege Is Showing framework, Brave Space Intensives are team building experiences for organizations that build awareness, communication skills, and cultural competence, in a game format.
In two hour or half day facilitated or moderated intensive sessions run by the Y.P.I.S. creator, Lillian Medville, participants explore the nuances of privilege, power dynamics, personal experience, and the impacts resulting from oppression. By encouraging participants to look at their own experiences, the Your Privilege Is Showing framework connects with their humanity and promotes the authenticity crucial to having meaningful dialogue about the ways in which we both participate in and endure marginalization.
As this is an intensive adaptive learning process and experience, this option is only available in multiple sessions. Brave Space Intensives are skill development sessions and continued practice is necessary for consistent growth and change.
